Each one of our dahlia seeds is a unique opportunity to create a plant unlike any that has ever existed before. Unlike other seeds which grow true to their seed parents, dahlias have 8 sets of chromosomes coming together in entirely unique and unpredictable ways. Each seed you grow out unlocks a piece of that magic. These seeds produce vibrant plants that will produce tubers by fall digging. It is entirely up to you if you keep the tubers for more of the same next year or if you decide, while the bees loved them (and you did too!), you want to compost them and try again next year!
