Sunday Garden Designs

The seeds that would eventually grow into Sunday Garden Designs were planted many years ago in a small greenhouse attached to an old colonial on South Street in Medfield, Massachusetts. It was there, with Barbara Leighton, that I was first introduced to the magic of a seed. I still remember the smell of the soil, the tiny seeds dropping from my fingers into each prepared tray, the wonder as the seedlings slowly emerged as the days warmed. These are some of my sweetest childhood memories.

My gardening and the time I had to devote to it would ebb and flow as the years went by as my attention was pulled towards growing up, pharmacy school, travels, finding love, starting a family. And while these wonderful distractions changed my focus, that curiosity, that wonder that I first felt all those years ago in the little greenhouse on South Street never left me. Sunday Garden Designs is a celebration of the tiny seeds that create such beauty and the winding journey they take to become breathtaking flowers. I hope our flowers bring you joy, a sense of wonder, and a belief in the magic of the seed. Welcome.
